Community College
I find it amusing that I have a masters degree and just signed up for community college. I wanted to take a class for my credential next semester but it was taking me forever to figure out what I needed. I was starting to feel the time crunch and also realized that a Spanish class was going to be way more useful in my entire life right now. There are two community colleges close to me so when I looked at the schedules, ELAC worked better with my schedule and I've heard better things about ELAC than about PCC. Applying was crazy easy but I did have to go in to prove my residency. I went today and told them that I knew I wouldn't qualify for instate tuition. The guy did something on his computer, gave me my student ID number and the day I could register and I was done. The spring semester doesn't start until the beginning of February or something like that so I have time to change my mind if I want to. It's going to be more expensive than I would like but it will be sooooo useful that the money doesn't really matter. It will make my life slightly more stressful next semester but again, learning Spanish will be worth it.
