Spanish

It's summertime!  Summertime is boring.  It's been a week.  I've watched so.very.much Netflix.  I've gone to the gym a lot.  I went to the Autry Museum.  It was kind of boring.  Um....

I started Spanish lessons!  I finally gave into paying someone to help me learn.  I found a company online that had really good reviews for private tutoring.  They also offer small group classes, but they didn't work with my schedule of nothing.  Ok, my schedule of spinning at the gym. So I paid for private tutoring lessons.  I had my first lesson yesterday.  We met in downtown LA.  I was super nervous, but mostly because I had no idea how to actually find this lady.  I was about an hour early, so I went to a nearby park.  It was pretty.

I found the teacher...after she called me at 12:03.  Our hour lesson lasted a little more than an hour.  She was really nice and easy to talk to.  I think it will be good and I'll learn a lot.  I have a feeling that I'll want to spend more money to keep taking lessons after the first 10 hours.  At least I hope I do.

End of the Year

Thursday was the last regular day of school and yesterday was a celebration day.  The kids came for an hour with their parents and we sang songs and gave them certificates.  My kids did so well!!  Overall, it was a good year.  I'm still deciding if I want to go back again next year.  So many things play into my decision so I'm just not sure yet.  The last few days, I brought all my stuff home, just in case and to organize it all.  It is currently in a giant pile on my living room floor and I have next to no motivation to go through it, but it's also driving me crazy.  That's my project for this weekend.

I have a staff meeting on Monday and then I'm done for the year.  My goal for the summer is to learn Spanish and go to the gym a lot.  :-)  Good plans.
